 The new USB2-F-1001 Full-Speed USB to 1-Port RS232 Adapter is the first of our USB-RS232 converters to offer the option of 5v (USB) power via the RI pin of the RS232 interface DB9 connector. This option is jumper-less, programmed via configuration utility software ( supplied) as opposed to internal jumpers or DIP switches, thus making it ideal for POS appications requiring power distribution over RS232 at non-specilaist prices, starting at under £20 for 1..4 pcs. Attractive discounts are offered for OEM / ODM bulk purchases. The USB2-F-1001 adapter is rated at industrial temperature range -40C to +85C.
